TWEEN TIME is a home-grown, community-based Bible study for 4th-6th grade girls.
Our motto is FAITH, FRIENDSHIP, FUN!

Age-appropriate Bible teaching with an emphasis on cultivating a personal relationship with Jesus Christ and learning to incorporate faith into daily life.
- FRIENDSHIP
Relationship skill-building with peers in the community where you live.
- FUN
Good old-fashioned fun and freedom in a place where you are accepted and loved.
WHAT IS TWEEN TIME LIKE?
- A typical day at Tween Time consists of free play, snack time, large group music/worship time, and small group Bible study in a neighbor’s home.
- Beginning in the Fall of 2012, we will have a Tween Time Rally once a month at the Fern Bluff Community Center. Rally days will include live music/worship, a short lesson, games, skits, and more!
- Throughout the year, we include other fun activities and events. This year we hosted two family picnics, decorated our own flip-flops, baked muffins, collected laundry detergent for Texas Baptist Children’s Home and took a field trip to deliver it, carved a pumpkin, painted Thanksgiving banners, put on a nativity play complete with Bible-times costumes and props, went Christmas caroling, had a Valentine’s Day tea, created an Easter craft called Resurrection Eggs, hosted a Zumba dance party–and MORE! There is no telling what we will do NEXT!
STATEMENT OF FAITH
- Tween Time believes in the inerrant Word of God in the Bible and in the sufficiency of the birth, death, and resurrection of Jesus Christ for salvation (by grace through faith). We are non-denominational.
- While we are expressly Christian in our teaching, we welcome little girls from families of all faiths (seekers and skeptics, too) to join us in small group Bible study if their parents give them permission to participate.
